Piombo Shiraz is made from what I see as the best of the Shiraz from our property for the vintage. Traditional Old School methods employed as always with an eye on giving the fruit every chance to give up its goodies. This wine is built with character, concentration with layers of flavour and structure. We’ve done the ageing for you–just decant and enjoy
In this wine lies a story, the story of Modestino (Steve) Piombo, beloved father, friend, companion and vigneron.
Steve’s legacy was passed down through the ages from the small hillside province of Sassinoro, Italy to the beautiful Sellicks Hills of McLaren Vale, Australia.
